Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre

Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre | Nathan | Brisbane

Originally constructed for the 1982 Commonwealth Games, the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre was installed with a new athletics track in 2001 to cater for the Goodwill Games. During its colourful history, the stadium has been known as the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium and, more recently, ANZ Stadium, and is the former home of the Brisbane Broncos NRL Club. The Davis Cup has twice been played at the stadium, with a temporary court installed and seating rearranged to suit the event.
